Love triumphs

I just finished creating the movie presentation for my bestfriend's wedding. Finally, after 7 years into the relationship, they are sealing their love with God's blessing. And it all began with a prayer...a simple wish. and now I am a witness to God's promise fulfilled.

I have always been a sucker for love stories. Aside from life-altering testimonies of change and transformation, I feel that love stories are just as amazing and even more. i think God writes the best love stories too. And it's really just remarkable to witness a miracle as it unfolds. It reaffirms me deep down where it truly matters.

i've heard so many great love stories that it's hard not to believe in spite of a cynical world. it does happen, and not as an exception to the rule. there are many out there happening everyday. The key being to trust God even and most especially in this delicate aspect of your life. God does want us to be happy and find true love. Sure, not everything will be all roses but if you let God write your love story, you will avoid all the UNNECESSARY pain that comes with wanting your own way.

yes, i may be a hopeless romantic, but i believe love is powerful. So powerful, it formed the world. it can build or destroy you, depending on how you use it. aren't we all made from love? and as a result, made to love? If God intended us for love, surely He will help and guide.

And how overwhelming when He does guide, if we only let Him. And I am saying this more to myself. Of course, we must do our part but to have God's blessings and counsel and to trust His leadings prevents us from all the useless heartaches.

God loves us. He will not let us down. I believe there is a great love story for you and I waiting just around the corner, if we only take the leap of faith and surrender.

i believe. i've seen love. i've seen grace.

to anne and derwin, all my love and support, and congratulations to your forevermore!
